Stiles + Bones

Stiles + Bones is a creative collaboration between Sasha Stiles and Kris Bones. Together they create mixed-media paintings, handcrafted objects and home goods that explore the role of originality in a world of frictionless replication; champion the rise of resourcefulness; and invoke individual expression as a challenge to commercialized inspiration.

In these works, digital manipulation is defined as using the fingers and hands to hold onto what's intrinsically human in an increasingly algorithmic age.
